I am a principal - how do I get an E12 login?

When a student in your school submits their application, you will receive an email asking you to submitting a supporting application for that student. This email outlines how to set a password (for first-time users) or how to reset a password (for users who may have forgotten their existing password). Your username will always be the email address to which you received the email notification about E12.

For first-time users, the instructions to set up a password are also listed below:  

1. open the E12 notification email you received, and click the resetting your password link 
2. enter your email address, the email address you receive E12 information from, and click Reset Password
3. 
you will be sent another email to this same address, click Resetting password page in that email
2. the Reset your password screen displays with the option to create a new password
3. enter a password. Re-enter this password in the Confirm Password field
4. click RESET PASSWORD
5. 
Please note this email and password as they are your E12 LOGIN, to use when logging in to complete any subsequent E12 supporting applications.

I've forgotten my password - what do I do?

Visit E12 login page, https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12.
2. click Forgot Password? The Reset your password screen will display
3. enter the email address to which you receive E12 notifications
4. click RESET PASSWORD. You will receive an email about how to reset your password shortly.
5. click the link in the email. The Reset Password screen displays with the option to create a new password
6. enter a password. Re-enter this password in the Confirm Password field

NOTE: If you have problem with resetting your password, please repeat step 1-6. If the problem persists, please contact ICT Helpdesk on 1800 SYD UNI (1800 793 864).

I haven't forgotten my password, but I want to change it. How do I do that?

1. Log in to E12 https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12
2. click the UPDATE PRINCIPAL DETAILS on the Home tab OR click on the Schools tab
3. click on Edit
4. change your details
5. click on SUBMIT.
NOTE: You cannot change your email address. If you need to change your email address, please contact the Helpline on 1800 SYD UNI (1800 793 864).

I am a principal, how do I add or change my recommendation to the student's application?

Log in to E12 https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12
2. click the Home tab
3. find the student in the Application list
4. click on View
5. fill out the recommendation form
6. click SAVE if you need more time to complete your recommendation or SUBMIT if your recommendation is complete.
NOTE: Once your supporting application is submitted, you cannot make revisions or re-submit. If you need to change your supporting application, please contact the Helpline on 1300 362 006.

I cannot see the application correctly on my computer screen - what should I do?

If you are not seeing the website correctly, we encourage you to try another brower such as Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.

What if my school details are incorrect?

Please contact the Helpline on 1800 SYD UNI (1800 793 864) if you need to change your school details.

I am a student - how do I apply for E12?

1. Log in to E12 https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12
2. on the left, under NEW STUDENTS click on START NEW E12 APPLICATION
3. fill out the STUDENT APPLICATION
4. click SUBMIT.

How can I find the ATAR requirement for an E12 course?

Can I make changes to my E12 application?

Once you have submitted your application, you cannot change your details or the content of your application. If you need to change your details or the content of your application, please contact the Helpline on 1800 SYD UNI (1800 793 864).

How can I merge my PDF files before uploading?

1. if you need to merge your scanned pdf files you can use this online resource:http://foxyutils.com/mergepdf/
2. otherwise you can try using a different scanner such as your school library or your local library, which should automatically scan your pages as one document.

My PDF files won't upload - help!

1. Make sure your document is saved as a PDF file
2. check your document hasn't exceeded the 5 MB limit
3. if your scanned document exceeds 5 MB, compress it - see How can I compress my PDF file if it is larger than 5MB?

How can I compress my PDF file if it is larger than 5MB?

If your scanned document exceeds 5 MB rescan it at a lower resolution in black and white, or use this online resource http://pdfaid.com/compress-pdf-file.aspx to compress your file. Please note that to get the best file compress it is best to change the colour image quality to 10%.

When is the last day to submit an E12 application?

Students must submit E12 applications before 5pm, 12 September 2014 in order to be considered for our E12 scheme in 2014.

Can I nominate more than one course on my E12 application?

You can only nominate one E12-eligible course on your E12 application. 

When would I find out if I've received a conditional E12 offer?

You'll find out if you've received a conditional E12 offer on or shortly before 8 October 2014.

What is an EAS application? Do I need to do this as well?

If your school is not on the E12 school list you will need to complete an EAS application providing information in the section on financial hardship.
