I am a principal, how do I get an E12 login?

When a student in your school submits their application, you will receive an email asking you to recommend the student.
If you have NOT used the system before, you will need to activate your login:
1. click the resetting your password link in the email you received
2. enter your email address, the email address you receive E12 information from, and click Reset Password
3.
you will be sent another email to this same address, click Resetting password page in that email
2. the Reset your password screen displays with the option to create a new password
3. enter a password. Re-enter this password in the Confirm Password field
4. click RESET PASSWORD

Please note this email and password as they are your E12 LOGIN, to use for other E12 recommendations.

What do I do if I've forgotten my password?

1. Visit E12 login page, https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12.
2. click Forgot Password? The Reset Password screen displays
3. enter your email details
4. click RESET PASSWORD. You will receive an email about how to reset your password shortly.
5. click the link in the email. The Reset Password screen displays with the option to create a new password
6. enter a password. Re-enter this password in the Confirm Password field

NOTE: If you have problem with resetting your password, please repeat step 1-6. If the problem persists, please contact ICT Helpdesk on 02 9351 6000.

How do I change my password?

I am having a problem with resetting my password, what do I do?

When you click on the Reset Password link in the email, and the Reset Password screen displays with the following error message:
“You have asked to reset the password for your Early Offer Year 12 (E12) log in. To complete this process, please visit our reset password page.”
You have 3 days to activate the link in the email sent after clicking reset password otherwise you will need to go through the process again.

To solve this:
1. Click on resetting your password screen
2. enter your email details
3. click RESET PASSWORD. You will be sent an email with instructions on how to reset your password
4. click the link in the email. The Reset Password screen displays with the option to create a new password
5. enter a password. Re-enter this password in the Confirm Password field
6. click on RESET PASSWORD.

I am a principal, how do I change my details?

1. Log in to E12 https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12
2. click the UPDATE PRINCIPAL DETAILS on the Home tab OR click on the Schools tab
3. click on Edit
4. change your details
5. click on SUBMIT.
NOTE: You cannot change your email address. If you need to change your email address, please contact the Helpline on 1300 362 006.

I am a principal, how do I add or change my recommendation to the student's application?

1. Log in to E12 https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12
2. click the Home tab
3. find the student in the Application list
4. click on View
5. fill out the recommendation form
6. click SAVE if you need more time to complete your recommendation or SUBMIT if your recommendation is complete.
NOTE: Once your supporting application is submitted, you cannot make revisions or re-submit. If you need to change your supporting application, please contact the Helpline on 1300 362 006.

I am cannot see the application correctly on my computer screen?

If you are not seeing the website correctly, we encourage you to try another brower such as Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.

What if my school details are incorrect?

Please contact the Helpline on 1300 362 006 if you need to change your school details.

I am a student, how do I apply for E12?

1. Log in to E12 https://e12.sydney.edu.au/early_offer_year_12
2. click on START APPLICATION
3. fill out the STUDENT APPLICATION
4. click SUBMIT.

What if I don't know my student email or login?

If you have not used the system before:
1. Click on the START APPLICATION
2. fill out the STUDENT APPLICATION
3. when you SUBMIT your application, your username and password is activated.

How do I change my student details? Can I make changes to my E12 application?

Once you have submitted your application, you cannot change your details or the content of your application. If you need to change your details or the content of your application, please contact the Helpline on 1300 362 006.

How can I merge my PDF files before uploading?

1. If you need to merge your scanned pdf files you can use this online resource:http://foxyutils.com/mergepdf/
2. otherwise you can try using a different scanner such as your school library or your local library, which should automatically scan your pages as one document.

I can't upload my PDF files?

1. Make sure your document is saved as a PDF file
2. check your document hasn't exceeded the 5 MB limit
3. if your scanned document exceeds 5 MB.

How can I compress my PDF file if it is larger than 5MB?


  1. If your scanned document exceeds 5 MB rescan it at a lower resolution in black and white, or use this online resource http://pdfaid.com/compress-pdf-file.aspx to compress your file. Please note that to get the best file compress it is best to change the colour image quality to 10%.
